A Special Delivery for St Mary’s
Thanks in part to generous funds donated (or to be donated) by Council 8611, a group of brother Knights took delivery of some much needed new tables for the Parish hall this week.
Brothers (from left) Don, Garry, Lloyd, Joe, Brendan and Bill donated muscle and time – apparently a lot of time thanks to a tardy delivery and some unexpected surprises.
The new plastic tables replace the half-century-old wooden ones, which have certainly seen better days.
Not many photos of the tables were taken (because everyone was too busy working) but the ladies of the CWL say they are so nice they don’t even need table cloths. But we’ll use table cloths for events like the upcoming St Valentine’s Dinner & Dance anyway!
