Pancake Breakfast 2024
Lent is just around the corner and that means its time for pancakes, pancakes and more pancakes!
The parishioners of St Mary of the People Parish were certainly in the mood for some fluffy flapjacks with around 180 people crowding the hall over the course of two sittings. (We’re still waiting on the final tally).
With each seating there were smiles all around and not a hungry tummy anywhere.
The men of Knights of Columbus Council 8611 combined forces with the Catholic Women’s League to do setup, cook, serve, clean and tear-down the entire event. A HUGE Thank You to all who helped make this possible. (You know who you are).
And don’t forget, you can have pancakes again tomorrow!
