Taking Down the Crèche
Many hands certainly do make for light work.
With a small army of volunteers the St Mary of the People Parish Crèche came down in perhaps record time. The volunteers assembled at 9 am sharp and by 9:34 it was all packed away – leaving plenty of time for coffee, treats and loads of laughter.
In attenance: Fr. David Bollo, Don Aiken, Julian Bussanich, Roy Druce, Stan Karwowski, Garry King, Brendan Lehman, Lloyd Munusami, Paul Power, Nino Stano, Colum Wood & Ken Young.
When pieces were removed, we discovered Brendan had been trapped inside since before Christmas.
