Each year Knight’s of Columbus Council 8611 honours the passing of fellow Knights with a special Memorial Night. This year’s ceremony was particularly touching.
While Council 8611 stayed in continuous operation throughout the pandemic, no Memorial Night was held for two years. As a result, there were many lives to remember during the ceremony.
Memorial Night, November 8 began with Mass at 7 P.M. celebrated by our Chaplain Fr. Bollo. The service followed in the hall. Brother Knights Jim Nemish, Albin Francelj, Harry Lack Sr., Joe Corey, Ed Dwyer, Don McGarry, Vince Mastroianni, Gord Richardson, Owen Baker and Father Paul Casullo were eulogized by Garry King, Paul Power, Colum Wood and Ken Young.
Also participating in the service were Brothers Fr. David Bollo, Don Aiken, Gerry Burke, Andre Micieli, Joe Miniaci, Lloyd Munusami, and Vince Tremblay.
