2025 Knights of Columbus Basketball Free Throw Champions Crowned!
After a several year hiatus, St Mary’s Knights of Columbus council 8611 brought back the annual KofC Basketball Free Throw competition.
Thanks to the amazing support of Paul Mac Kinnon, Vice-Principal of St. Christopher Catholic School and the teachers at the school, the Free Throw Championship was held this past Tuesday, February 11th.
With plenty of competition and more than a few tie-breakers required, the winners in each of the categories are as follows:
Winners
Girls (age 9-11): Lyla C.
Boys (age 9-11): Daniel J.
Girls (age 12-14): Marissa R.
Boys (age 12-14): Francesco C.
Having been crowned our champions at the council level, all four students will go on to compete at the regional level, which will be held (conveniently) at St Christopher Catholic School on Friday, February 21st, at 6 pm.
The Knights of Columbus want to thank Brother Knight Patrick Treacy for making this possible and thank all of the students for participating.
