There were some usual suspects and a few new ones, as St Mary’s Knights of Columbus came out to support the St Joseph of the Worker Council as they celebrated St Patrick’s Day in Style.
The group was honoured to host Msgr Hannah, Fr Joel and Fr Bollo amid a sea of green, live music, tasty stew and all around good times. Brother Paul even found time to invent a new extra-Irish coffee, henceforth known as Paul’s Special. (You’ll have to ask him for the recipe).
As our first full parish-wide event since Covid, the Knights of Columbus Council 8611 Oktoberfest Dinner and Dance was an enthusiastic success. The 10th Annual Durham Catholic Children’s Foundation was a roaring success and a fantastic evening all in support of children and families in our community.
