Christmas Crèche Setup – 2024
Many hands make light work and the St Mary’s Knights of Columbus had plenty of helping hands for the annual Christmas Crèche setup.
In fact, it might have been one of our largest turnouts in recent years. As well, it was a first time participating in a Knights event for Denish Paskaran, who joined our council recently. Everyone was appreciative of his young muscles! (And he wasn’t the only young member to join either).
With the setup overlapping with the Cor meeting, there was no opportunity for a group photo. But it was nice for the Cor group to drop by and see the work in action.
The weather was brisk but for the time of year ideal. In fact it was several degrees above zero and probably the warmest it’s been in recent memory.
St Mary of the People is now ready to start the Advent season in a few week’s time, while our Crèche reminds everyone driving up and down Stevenson about the true reason for the season.
