DESCRIPTION:The Serra Club of Durham Region will be hosting its Annual Priest and Religious Life Appreciation Dinner on Saturday January 28th\, 2023\, at St. Mary’s of the People Church 570 Marion Ave\, Oshawa. \nKnights of Columbus Council 8611 will be purchasing a table at the dinner and covering half the cost of tickets for those at the table. Please contact info@kofc8611.org if you wish to attend. \nThis dinner is held in honour of the dedicated Priests and Religious of the Catholic Church\, who have given of themselves in order to be holy examples. \nThe aim for this dinner is to raise awareness for vocations to the Priesthood and the Religious life. With the increasing number of parishes without their own Priest\, the need of Vocation Awareness is becoming more critical than ever. Of similar concern is the genuine need for more to come forward to enter the Religious life. \nThe evening will begin with Mass at 5:00pm\, followed by refreshments and social at 6:00 pm\, dinner will begin at 7:00 pm. \n
